well last week I had a 5 fill enema. The last 2 fills I was taking the whole 2 quarts and expelling quite nicely. My problem is that after wards I still felt like I hadn't gotten everything out. I think I did everything right. I took as much as I could the first few fills and held them for as long as I could( about 5-6 mins ) and then did the whole 2 quarts on the last 2 fills. A few hours later I ate a light meal and the next morning I had to actually push hard during a bowel movement. The feces came out thin which I heard was an indication that there is still stuff on my intestinal walls causing some blockage. Also I heard that after deep enema you should feel lighter and "thinner" as a result a well as have normal bowel movements with no forceful pushing necessary. So far this has not been the case and I'm wondering if there is something else I need to do. Can someone please help?!?!?!?!
Maybe you didn't get everything out. Maybe you did, and you have a fast transit time and your light meal later that night was the thin feces you experienced in the morning. You pushed hard because you didn't have enough bulk inside your colon for it to come out easily. You in all likelihood did NOT have any blockage at all, especially after five two quart enemas.
FORGET what people say about feeling thinner, lighter, having to push less, having a completely new regular elimination pattern, etc. YMMV. Everyone is different. NO ONE needs to fit into a particular pattern of bowel habits. After you have more experience you will see how YOUR BODY responds. Go easy on yourself.
