I had post this morning in another area, but to answer your question..
First I agree it’s not fun to take. It made me sick once or twice in the past, but maybe with practice and age it’s becoming more agreeable.
Here’s how I take it: Stir vigorously 100 cc of castor oil in about 100 cc of orange juice, cold. Drink it quickly, then wipe off your mouth (the oily sensation is in itself nauseating) and eat a spoonful of jam or a chunk of candied ginger. I don’t have any sense of nausea with this method.
Years ago I even thought of how it could be put into capsules, but that’s not practical for the amount needed to lose control.
There used to be a flavoured castor oil, “Neoloid”, but I haven’t seen it in the pharmacies. It was easier to take and packed a pretty good wallop, but not quite like 100 cc of good old castor oil!
It works on me unpredictably, in as little as 45 minutes once (what a surprise that was), but usually in 2-4 hours. In most instances the first time it works it’s a real accident.
