I would like to know if taking enemas on a daily basis is good hygiene-I do it on a daily basis and I fee great.
I have been taking enemas every day this week and haven't found any adverse effects or any lack on natural urge for a bowel movement in the morning. On Wednesday, I did a full 2 1/2 quart cleansing enema, followed by two separate 2 cup coffee enemas to do a liver and gallbladder cleanse. I left the liver squirt after holding the coffee enema about 15 minutes (actually held for 25). I felt the most amazing energy I have ever felt after enemas. I had heard about coffee enemas for years and finally read up on the solution, volume and process which I followed to the "E"! I have a Ft Troff shower enema system, so I take smaller cleansing enemas every day after my I have my morning constitution. Leaves me feeling refreshed and ultra clean all day. No ill effects at all.
Along similar lines, is there any problem with many repeated enemas? One of my fantasies (have not done it) is to be hooked up to a machine like a Dirker and repeatedly filled and drained. I understand that you can achieve climax that way, but don't know. But back to the point, is it possible to "overwork" the colon with a long series of enemas?
Yes and no. There is no "one size fits all" for us klismo's. Some of us have enjoyed a daily enema for years, others indulge much less frequently. Some guts can tolerate it. Others can't. It just depends. Then start adding up all the variables (volume, pressure, temperature, additives, position, etc) and it becomes a question that is probably best answered by the receiver. My common sense tells me that pushing it to the edge every day with massive all-you-can-take harsh, soapy enemas is probably not a good idea, but a little warm water up the fanny never hurt anyone.
Not quite the same, but this thread makes me wonder if there is any problem with repeated enemas until the water is clear on a daily basis, as opposed to "just" an enema.
Ive done daily enemas now at 4 quarts though was a lesser amount at first since I was age 25 and am now 76. By daily I mean that during that period of time only missed LESS than 50 days doing them and am in wonderful health. As far as dependance it is hard to say as during all that time really never stopped long enough to check that. Though not as active now as when younger I still hike and walk, have no lack of energy and just retired from an IT position at age 75. I do think them both healthful and certainly erotic.
Not sure but a little common sense should go a long way... a small enema can be just a good and given more frequently
I take them everyday for about 25 years, with no side effects at all.
Every time after toilet, once or twice a day, as a part of my regular hygiene .
I have consulted supposed experts on enemas and all say it is absolutely not harmful, which is what I expected them to say, I did them daily for a couple of decades, so far no bad side effects.
I take them about twice a week. A long series
I have been taking daily enemas for several years and feel absolutely wonderful. I can not see where they are hurting me one bit and in fact I think they are a contributing factor as to how good I feel.
haha,no more than every 4 to 6 weeks, really? I wanna bet that will be way to long without a good enema for most of us here ;)
Overall, for the general population, NO!
There may be certain specific exception, but overall, no more than every 4-6 weeks should be the limit. Try for less often than that.
It is good that you feel so well, but there are other sane ways to feel good also. Like exercising on a daily basis, eating right, having quiet time sometime during your day. Line up 10 experts in the field and you will more than likely get 10 different answers to your question, which is a good one and often asked. I have heard that there is a chance that daily enemas can make you quite dependent on them. Not for me, but if it works for you all the power to you. Good luck.
Not a normal event here in the UK. Never had, nor endured one, in my 83 years.
My second wife (35 years marriage) had a lot of stomach operations, and absolutely hated having to undergo one, and cried, when it became necessary for her to have one coming up on the calendar.
She told me on many occasions just how painful she found them to be.
I do two sessions a week (sometimes three when I really can't wait), mainly because it is a matter of time. When I have to rush, it is not fun. When I need a quick cleansing for what reason ever, I might do this, but normally I want to enjoy and take my time.
i dont know if its good or not ..but i do know i want them and if possible i want them on a daily basis. or as much as possible
I have been taking daily enemas for years now - mainly because of IBS which has been my nemesis most of my life. Bearing in mind that I'm one of those unfortunate souls who can very easily get electrolyte imbalance, I can nevertheless honestly declare that daily enemas have been my salvation.
No more IBS, I can take a "normal" dump if I have to without complications, and with the addition of regular coffee enemas to my regime (2 to 3 times per week) a few noticeable other improvements as well. Gout and arthritis (I had a moderate case of both) - gone. The skin on my forearms which bear the battle scars of too much sun in my heyday - the spots are mostly cleared up now. Never thought it possible.
And, of course, the feeling of a daily enema is a great start to the day. Bring 'em on!
I have at least 1 enema in the morning and have been doing this for 20 years ... i haven't had any problems with normal bowel movements when there are days that i don't have time for an enema.
I am in the once or twice a week crowd as I am careful of keeping my flora balanced. I always make my enemas isotonic (or nearly so) with a bit of baking soda or salt to help keep my electrolytes balance during a good clean out session.
I have been taking daily enemas for many, many years and as far as my health is concerned - excellent. Look younger than my age, and people say my eyes shine. I believe it is because of my enema habit. If I stop for a couple of days, I always go on my on. Not fun though.... I just don't feel cleaned out.
I am going to be house sitting for two weeks so no going out so will be going for an enema each night for two weeks see what happens.
I take 2 - 3, 2 quart enemas at least 5 times a week. Sometimes daily. I have been doing this for over 55 years. I have not had any ill effects from doing this over the years. I do this for both my health and occasionally orgasms. I enjoy all aspects of enemas and also enjoy giving to others. When I have been in the hospital for a couple of surgeries, I had no problem having a BM without an enema, so I am not dependent on them. I never take laxatives because they are to unpredictable. I am a 66 year old male from Ohio.
Personally I am not sure if taking enemas on a daily basis is a good idea as the bowel will begin to rely on this and not work naturally as it is meant to!
As a fan of large volume, colon tube enemas, it normally takes four days before my bowel perform normally. As of late, I've limited myself to only two or three "clean-out session" per month. The waiting and anticipation seems to make the process even more enjoyable.
I saw a lot of this in the 50's, 60's. Usually women would take 16 oz., or so everyday. Their colon became dependent on the daily enema and a B.M. without one became a real problem. My grandmother did this daily and when she was hospitalized for gall bladder removal, the nursing staff became aware of this. They put her on a "bowel training" regimen to get her back to normal. This worked, but as soon as she came home, she started up again.
My personal opinion is that taking daily enemas specially with an irritant
like soap would cause me to be addicted to them. That being said how bad would it be?
Its not like they are hard to get, illegal or expensive. Personally I think at some point
we will all be taking a daily enema just as often and as routine as we brushing our teeth.
I think society was heading that way in the 50's and 60's but lots of social change got in the way.
Changes like this usually take a lot of media attention, and obviously the fact is this is
not a subject most people feel comfortable discussing. Therefore it may be a long time
in the future before we see built in enema stations as standard equipment in bath rooms.
I take two or three enemas about 4 times a week. I've been doing this for about 15 yrs. I can't see that I've had any ill effects, plus I really enjoy them.
I do not think daily enema is good for health, peristalsis of intestines or very slow with all the consequences for Healthcare. A.
Who has time for daily enemas? Not me. I do well to get three or four a week. Some weeks none at all.
