Hi Friends.. Are any of you aware of enemas used by or given to celebrities of hollywood or bollywood?
I heard once that the Duke himself used enemas for treatment of his Cancer before he passed away.
I somehow cannot imagine John Wayne whining to the nurse who was giving him an Enema to stop...he could not hold
Jenny McCarthy said , when on Howard Stern< that her mother would give her enemas all the time growing up. Everything from constipation, sore throat...even a stubbed toe.
I saw an episode of Chelsea Lately on E Channel a couple of months ago. Jenny McCarthy was the guest and both her and Chelsea talked about getting colonics. Chelsea said she had only had one sssion but Jenny said she does them frequently. I would love to watch that!
If you search here for Doris Day and enemas, you'll find many postings over the years. Apparently she was introduced to enemas while hospitalized as a teen after an auto accident and became a fan of them. She must be well in her 80s by now and probably still healthy.
I saw an interview with Doris Day once talking about a scene from the movie "Please Don't Eat the Daiseys" (Doris Day, David Niven) There is a scene where the kids are bombing people on the street with water balloons and spraying them from an enema bag and she said something to the efffect that that was her personal enema bag. I had a hard on for months thinking of giving, getting, watching Doris Day and enemas.
On The Jonathan Ross show, Miriam Margolyes mentioned her regime of daily oil enemas in India last year. It quite reawakened my interest.
George Hamilton is in search of the fountain of youth, and I doubt it matters which end that fountain happens to go in.
I have read and heard on talk shows that actor George Hamilton is a big fan of colonic irrigation! Barry
As Persephone stated, M. Landon did talk of that on J. Carson's show. He made a remark, "Fill it to the rim, with Brim". Brim being a brand of coffee at the time. Not sure if that brand is even around any longer, and that sure was a funny line. Carson just looked at him, then at the audience with a straight face. But Landon had colon cancer which had metastasized to his liver, from what I recall.
On another occasion, Ernest Borgnine mentioned that he had gone to some spa and that they gave high colonics there, and said something about a yogurt enema, as I recall. Again, Carson just stared at him, then the audience, and changed the subject. I don't believe Borgnine was ever on the show again.
I recall Michael Landon talking about coffee enemas with Johnny Carson when Michael was being treated for cancer. Johnny remarked he preferred his with cream and sugar. And as for Marilyn, the rumors have been around for years that she died as a drug overdose given to her rectally through suppositories. Maybe her fetish got her killed.
I'm sure there are many more than the ones that discuss colonics or enemas on talk shows or in interviews. They are human after all and share our fetishes and habits. I would love to know all the hot men in Hollywood who regularly use enemas!!! I know the ones I would be more than happy to administer enemas to!!! LOL!!! Barry
When X-Men 2 came out, I saw Rebecca Romijn doing an interview with Regis and Kelly. Almost immediately she started raving about her recent obsession with Colonics. Kelly had to explain to Regis that Colonics were in effect "A high pressure hose". It was very entertaining to watch. I think enemas are very common in hollywood. People who are desperate to stay beautiful will do damn near anything, try any fad or unpleasant sounding procedure. In the case of enemas, they are quite nice so it's no wonder.
I like the quote from Marilyn Monroe in one of the transcribed tapes she made for her shrink. "So I like enemas. So what?"
All the ones who were super-skinny. It was the only way to suppress the food cravings.
That's a subject that has been quiet for a long time. The last thing I've heard was Robin Givens being ragged about it on Howard Stern. Nothing else from any other celebrity in a long time, nothing that hasn't already been covered here.
George Hamilton is an advocate of colonics. James Coburn is said to have been into enemas and colonics for health reasons. Janet Jackson has discussed her use of coffee enemas. I'm sure there are many celebrities who use colonics and enemas for health reasons and you would have to think that there are some who enjoy them! Barry
Just posted this under another topic but I see in the new bio on Simon Cowell that he is a regular user of colonics. Says it makes his eyes shine more. Interesting result, I thought.
According to the biography on him, Big Bosoms and Square Jaws, Russ Meyer was really into enemas. It's mentioned right in one of the first chapters of the book.
P.S. I'd like to give Ladie GaGa a good one or 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 :) Me Bad.
The reason you haven't found it, is because that is not the title. http://www.amazon.com/Natalie-Memoir-Sister-Lana-Wood/dp/0399129030
Stuart -- I haven't been able to find "Life with Natalie". Amazon doesn't have it for Kindles. I will check the library. -- DD
You might as well add another celebrity to this list, and that's Kourtney Kardashian. I don't know if anyone here has seen the reality show called "Kourtney and Kim Take New York", but in the first episode of season 2 Kourtney had mentioned that she was living a new holistic lifestyle, and in one segment of the show the Kardashian sisters visited a holistic spa in NYC where Kourtney submitted to an oil enema in front of the camera while lying on a table next to her sister. Later on, she posted a comment on Twitter openly stating that she loved receiving oil enemas and said that they were "life changing". She then suggested that everyone should get one. After that, she openly admitted during an interview that she enjoyed receiving enemas on a regular basis.
renowned celebrities such as Mae West, John Lennon, Damon Wayans, Janet Jackson, James Coburn, and so many other celebrities have used enemas cleansing methods and even declared how these therapies helped them.
Hey ddell2 - Thanks for the follow up comment! I would be very much interested in any excerpts from Lana Woods' book "Life With Natalie", especially excerpts regarding their mutual E-experiences. Sorry for my slow response time, I've been off the site for a long while, thanks again! -- Stuart
Stuart -- Somewhere in my house, I have Life with Natalie. When I fine it I will post the passage or passages regarding Natalie and Lana's enema use for weight maintenance. I know that Lana wood stated that Natalie hated enemas. -- DD
never thought celebs would openly talk about it.
I remember listening to Howard Stern some years ago and the guest was Jenny McCarthy. She said she grew up getting enemas from her mother for almost any aliment. From constipation to sore throat..to a stubbed toe.
Thanks, RealEZ. For those that click the link to the video, make sure you stay for the NUtz gag in Part II.
Here is the link to the interview on Jimmy Kimmel where Dana Delaney talks about getting colonics http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_9q24Lb54s
Seeing as Princess Diana was into colonics I can't help but wonder if Prince William ever got them too. Has anyone ever seen any reference to this?
