The first time I had a full body skin check was during the college year I spent in Australia. It was by a male dermatologist, no nurse present. He had me strip naked and examined me under a magnifying glass from my scalp to the soles of my feet, even asking me to bend over and spread my butt cheeks -- very embarrassing!
But that was nothing compared to the genital exam -- on my back, holding my legs under the knees, high and far apart. He riffled my pubic hair and ran a gloved finger along and under the edges of my outer labia from the top of my slit down to my anus. Then without any warning he spread them really wide and studied my vulva under the glass. When he peeled back my clitoral hood it was hard not to squirm and I had trouble controlling my breathing -- this was a dream come true! I was very aroused which must have been obvious by the way my clit was twitching and my vagina contracting. He said melanomas can form even in places where there's no direct sunlight so it's important to be thorough. Then he gave my clit a little squeeze and told me everything looked good and I could get dressed.
I never had a dermatologist in the states do a genital exam. Is that a common practice in Australia?
