Personally, I think the question of “Do male doctors enjoy examining female patients?†is a bit silly because the answer is an unequivocal YES... sometimes, BUT one must add several modifiers to get a true picture of the answer.
First, there is a minority of physicians who are able to mentally dissociate their work life from their libido and they don't... ever, become aroused by their work any more than a veterinarian is likely to. (Yeah, skip the Vet jokes, we've all heard them before. lol) But as noted, that is a minority. The majority fall into the category that CAN, at least occasionally, be aroused by their work but even for them that would be the exception rather than the norm.
By the time a male (or lesbian) physician has done a few hundred pelvic exams, they are no longer likely to be aroused by an exam of an average middle-aged housewife. BUT... if you put the same doctor between the legs of an unusually attractive 20 year-old, NOW they are likely to be grateful they have the traditional white lab coats to hide the evidence.
The one thing that the vast majority of doctors learn while they are still in training is how to carry on with their work without letting their arousal affect their behavior... in any manner including their speech. For those doctors, not even the nurse at their side, much less the patient, is likely to be aware of the doctor's arousal.
Finally, there is of course a very small minority of physicians who never did learn to control their behavior. In my own city a few years ago an OB-GYN lost his license to practice after a number of his patients complained that he had finished their pelvic exams using his tongue. Seems like a pretty big price to pay but I'm sure that doc enjoyed those exams at the time.
