Pacemaker

Just wondered if anybody had any theories about my recent hospital stay, I was admitted to A&E with a heart problem and was diagnosed with heartblock , my heart was down to 25bpm! Throughout my stay in A&E everytime i was stethed by a doctor they did so through my clothes, I found this very unusual, has anybody got any opinions or indeed any reason that doctors should do this ? I would of thought shirt of or at least pulled up for a real listen?? Indeed through my whole 5 days neither consultants nor doctors ever gave me a thorough stething
