did someone try to insert a catheter?
I am cathed for the weekend myself i have a diaper on with a 2XL NorthShore™ Heavy-Duty Liners. this should be a very nice wet weekend. :)
Once again have a cath in and no issues tonight will be 24 hours, running out of diapers with me so won't keep it in past 36 hours. No signs of infection but have been drinking 2 liters of water every 2 hours.
i too use a 18fr in my diapers when i travel to just let the pee flow. Once the diaper is soaked i will rediaper to a clean one then put on my plastic pants
Haven't had an infection yet but I drink lots of water and juice when I have a cath in.
I insert catheter over the weekend and spend in bed.
It is important to note about infection with a nervous.
Genital washing ago bowel enemas and morning and bedtime. Insert piece is disinfected every antiseptic solution of povidone-in 3 hours. And the intake water at all times. By nasogastric tube during the bedtime intake drip water. It is approximately 600-1000 ml vitamin C mixed water. Used when you clean the diapers will sit on a wheelchair.
It is important to always make making flow urine. Body nor the finger to clean.
In my case the infection so far no once.
Would love to try it as a punishment , for beeing bad :)
Thanks for that Stephen, I am always at risk of an infection, but have found over recent years that have become stronger, I will leave the catheter for the moment but I would love to try it.
Diaperedtight, do not use a catheter without important medical need and insertion by a professional. Indwelling catheter insertion is considered a sterile technique as a device, (the catheter), is inserted into a cavity which is meant to be sterile, (the bladder). If you have a deficient immune system you are at high risk for infection.
I would love to try putting in a catheter but am put off by the fact I might get an infection, this would undoubtedly screw up a long term medical condition I have which leaves me vulnerable to infections due to a weakened immune system.
Still, sounds fun though.
I have used Catheter a couple of time. What I found was not only did I not have control the Catheter was triggered spasms in my bladder. About every 10 to 20 min I would have this huge contraction and I would give a surge of urine out of my Catheter. Now if you are wearing a diaper at the same time you can feel the trickle go down your diaper.
I like to insert a Catheter into me and then tape it to my stomach. Then put on my Abena X Plus and my plastic panties.
Its the lack of control that I like and never know when I am going to leak ...
I'm sure you know already Thumper, but don't sit around in a wet diaper to long. That could promote a UTI. Or put some stay dry liners in your cloth diapers to help on that vain. They keep wetness away from baby Thumper's skin, Hee Hee!
Hooray for Thumper
Well, Luvsit I have just gotten back to my cloth diapers and yellow, pink and frosty white plastic panties. It may take another couple of days before I actually start to pee in them. I still worry about urinary tract infections and don't want to do anything that would make me have to back to catheters. I really don't get the appeal of them, sexual or otherwise.
Yeah Thumper! "You're a little kid now". (A play on, "I'm a big kid now" from pull ups..) Glad to hear you are back on track medically. And now, you need to get into those thick soft diapers, and a pair of yellow plastic baby panties!
Glad you doing better Thumper!!!! And i i think you are right by waiting just a bit to heal a little more. Welcome back to babyland sissy boy thumper!!!!!!!!!! Wont be long now and those diapers will be wet once again!!!!
I just want to let everybody know that as of today I can pee on my own and I am catheter FREE I did it twice after drinking a couple of beers. and I want to say thank you to all of you and for your support, especially Mamasboy and Luvsit. I may wait a couple of days before going back to my beloved diapers just so I don't get UTI's
To Thumper: Have the cranberry juice ready to go. I know that can help with infections.
I agree Thumper, tell him there has to be another way, and then ask him what he thinks it might be. I hope every thing comes out alright.
I have an appointment next Wednesday with this same surgeon Luvsit. And I am going to demand that he take the catheter out for good and I'll take my chances, after all when I look at my catheter bag I maybe pee 300 milliliters( Canadian) at a time., I figure that any infections come up I'll just go to my family doctor for antibiotics. I'll tell him that just don't like catheter and I don't want one in me.
Sorry to hear that Thumper, it sucks! Still, I have crossed fingers for you to get back into your diapers and plastic panties.
I just had a prostemy because of supposedly my bladder is not emptying enough but I peed almost 1000 milliliters and the doctor said there was still too much pee in my bladder and put back the catheter and I hate the fucking catheter 1- Because it hurts. 2- Because it's embarrassing to empty and finally 3- because it's hard to wear diapers and plastic pants with it and you can't pee in your diapers and I don't think that you can even masturbate with a catheter
I have inserted a catheter several times, mostly Foley catheter, but have also used single use drainage catheters just to empty the bladder. I prefer Foley's if I'm going to keep the catheter in for a while. The drainage caths tend to slip out and stop the flow, while Foley's always hold position and "does the job". For me it's a nice feeling not to be able to hold back, but it's important to keep the catheter clean. I would not recomend having an open cath in the diaper and fill the diaper with poo as well - you might have a severe urinary tract/bladder infection on your hand.
You can of course connect the catheter to a bag, but then you will miss out the wonderful feeling of wearing a soaked diaper.
Tomorrow I will be going into surgery for bladder retension and right now I am wearing a Foley catheter (which I hate) and I am hoping that I will be able to pee after the surgery because I will able to wear and hopefully soak my cloth diapers and plastic pants like the good old days five months ago.
I have just tried it for my first time! It was easy to insert and it was interesting draining into a diaper. I actually started leaking with out knowing after having the foley in for about 6hr. The one draw back is the stinging whenever i pee now. But im my mind it was worth it and i plan to do it again!
I have been trying for a good year now to stick to the 12 month diaper program. Well, I have been fighting with myself is more like it. But I think I am committed now; I just told my best friend today, which is the first step of becoming diaper dependent.
I really could use some support in doing this. Could I get a friend to help and support me from this site.
hmmmmm this is something i thought about trying but maybe not only for the health concern.
LOL! Yes, I supose nature will take it's course. Yes, I am a female. Thank you for your advice. Is this wrong to want? Why do I feel so weird for liking it?
Good advice StephenS Thank You for your input. I am very sure we all don't need directions on how to pee in our own diapers. Leave the catheters for the unfortunate ones who require them. If you really want to lose control drink four or five ten ounce glasses of good clean water. Dear Mother Nature will take her due course.
A Foley Cath. is not as much fun as you think. It is uncomfortable, pulling on your urethra and bladder and has to be connected to a drainage bag. When out and about you have to use a bag strapped to your leg. The FC provides a convenient route for bacteria to get into your bladder, NOT a good thing! Also, to insert a FC properly you must use sterile technique, a job best done by a professional.
Just curious, are you a girl from NJ?
Best wishes, Steve S
