Back in the 1980s I was working at a small Legal Newspaper in Detroit. I was returning from lunch one day, and as I was ascending the stairs (my office was on the 2nd floor), I tripped and fell flat on my face I actually landed on my elbow, but it started to throw after a few hours, and my boss insisted I go to the Marygrove Clinic, an industrial clinic our company had a contract with.
As I pulled into the parking lot of the Clinic I noticed 9 or 10 police cars in the lot. At first I was thinking something bad had happened, and I hesitated going in, but then my curiosity got the better of me.
When I walked in, I headed for the reception desk, explained my situation, and I was escorted by a young female (nurse, I'm guessing). I was taken into this huge room, with curtained off cubicles, with not much privacy for a patient.
When the young lady walked me into one of the cubicles, she opened a drawer, pulled out an exam gown, and told me to take everything off and put on the gown. Since I was here just to have my elbow looked at, I saw absolutely no reason for me to strip completely. To my surprise she just said "Okay".
As I was sitting on the exam table, patiently waiting to be looked at, it occurred to me why all the police cars and the 9 or 10 cops sitting in the waiting room.
The City of Detroit Police Dept. had just instituted a new policy of drug testing all police officers on the force .I wasn't sure how that would work, whether it would be random testing or what. So it appeared now that they were sending officers in groups, to do the drug testing.
As I was still waiting, a uniformed officer was being escorted by a male (nurse, I suppose) into the cubicle next to mine.
After they entered, I could hear a draw opening, and then a voice saying "You need to get completely undressed and put on this gown. Leave your shoes and socks on.
Then I heard the cop say "I thought I was just going to get a cup and pee into it. "Sorry, but that's not how it works". There was a slight pause, and the nurse left the cubicle. I could hear the cop undressing, particularly when his belt and gun clanked together as he was removing his pants. I also could see him from the knees down, as the curtain didn't come completely to the floor.
A few minutes later the nurse returned. The cop must have had had his back to the curtain opening, because obviously the nurse had seen the back of him, with the gown partially open in the back. "You'll need to take off the underpants also, said the nurse.
The cop seemed stunned. "Oh, man", he said.
Then the two of th3m once again walked past my cubicle. I caught the eye of the cop, and he seemed truly embarrassed. Then I heard the cop say "Give me the cup, and I'll fill it up for you.
At that the nurse dropped the bombshell: "No, I'll be escorting you into the men's room, and I will need to see you peeing into the cup. That's the way it works!" At that the cop said "You've gotta be kidding me".
Anyway, when I saw the cop come out of the men's room, with the nurse right behind me, I could see the humiliation he had just experienced. This time as he passed my cubicle his eyes were focused on the floor, absolutely no eye contact.
What I found most intriguing was that these officers were accustomed to being able to intimidate people, just because of their uniform. But now, here they were, completely naked (under the gown) being forced to be submissive, to the point of being forced to pee, and having a complete stranger looking at their dick while they did it, made me think that these cops had no idea when they went to work today what kind of humiliation they would be facing. Kinda karma-like, right?
